ResetDesk Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to ResetDesk for iPhone and iPad. ResetDesk helps users track local workspace reset tasks, zones, estimates, notes, completion state, and backups.

Data Handling

ResetDesk does not require an account and does not collect, sell, share, or upload your reset tasks. If you choose to send feedback, the app transmits the message you entered, the app name, and an app device identifier. The app does not use advertising identifiers and is not used for cross-app advertising tracking.

Local Storage

Tasks and settings are stored on your device. This may include task titles, zones, minute estimates, notes, completion state, reset log entries, and app preferences. The local App lock PIN is stored in app preferences and is removed with app data. An app device identifier used for feedback and unlocked launch requests may be stored in the device Keychain.

Network and Diagnostics

New or remotely locked installs do not request launch configuration during startup. The feedback service is contacted only after you tap Send feedback, the official website is loaded only after you tap Website, and this hosted policy is loaded only after you tap Privacy Policy. After a valid feedback response opens its destination, later launches may request configuration. These requests may process app version, request time, and an app device identifier for operation, basic statistics, troubleshooting, and security maintenance. Reset task content is not uploaded by the app.

Third-Party Services

ResetDesk does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking services.

How Data Is Used

Local data is used to display Today, Tasks, Zones, and Settings. A text copy is created only when you choose Copy reset route. Optional feedback is used to review product suggestions, investigate reported problems, and improve the app.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your reset tasks. Feedback is sent to the app's feedback service only at your request. If you export a backup or send information to another person, that action is controlled by you.

Retention and Deletion

Records remain on your device until you edit, complete, delete, or remove them. You can empty the local reset desk from Settings. Submitted feedback may be retained as needed to review the message and improve the app; contact us to request deletion.

Your Choices and Rights

You can use ResetDesk without an account. You can edit tasks, empty the local reset desk, choose whether to copy a reset route, and choose whether to send feedback or open Website.

Children's Privacy

ResetDesk is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use platform storage features to keep app data on the device. No method of storage is perfect, so users should protect device access with the security options provided by iOS or iPadOS.

Policy Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published with a new last updated date.
